COMPOSITION
Oxazac Oral Tablet is a light cream coloured tablet with a notch line in the middle. Each tablet contains 375 mg of oxfendazole and 750 mg of oxyclozanide.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
It is used in cattle and sheep as anthelmintic for treatment and protection purposes against adult and larvae forms and eggs of gastrointestinal worms and lungworms and adults of Moniezia sp.
Gastrointestinal worms:
Stomach: Haemonchus sp., Ostertagia sp., Trichostrongylus axei
Small intestine: T. colubriformis, Trichostrongylus sp., Strongyloides sp., Nematodirus spp., Cooperia spp., Bunostomum spp., Gaigeria pachyscelis
Large intestine: Chabertia ovina, Oesophagostomum sp., Trichuris sp.
Lungworms: Dictyocaulus spp. (adult and larvae forms)
Tapeworms: Moniezia sp.
Liverflukes: Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica (adult)
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Dosages are 10 – 15 mg/kg bw in cattle, 10 – 20 mg/kg bw in sheep for oxyclozanide and 4.5 – 5 mg/kg bw in cattle, 5 – 7.5 mg/kg bw in sheep for oxfendazole; practically, 1 tablet for each 50 kg bw.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)
Cattle and sheep should not be slaughtered during the treatment and for 28 and 21 days following the last treatment, respectively. Cow milk should not be consumed during the treatment and for 5 days (10 milkings) after the last drug administration.
Do not use in sheep producing milk for human consumption.
