COMPOSITION

Flumeglin Injectable Solution is a colourless and clear solution. Each ml contains flunixin meglumine equivalent to 50 mg of flunixin base.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Flumeglin Injectable Solution is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with antipyretic, analgesic and non-narcotic activities. It is mainly used for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with colic in horses, for the control of acute inflammation associated with infectious diseases in cattle.

Additionally, in cattle, horses and dogs;

– In the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with tendon and musculoskeletal disorders, and pain associated with spasms of smooth muscles of internal organs.

– It decreases the amount of lactic acid in blood and tissues and inhibits the decrease of blood pressure, increases the venous return of blood to the heart, reduces the damage in vascular endothelial cells.

– For the control of acute inflammations associated with colibacillosis, pneumonia and chronic obstructive respiratory diseases, and also as an adjuvant in the treatment of acute bovine pulmonary emphysema (fog fever) and acute mastitis.

ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS

Administer via slow intravenous or intramuscular injection depending on the animal species, as shown in the table, unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian.
