COMPOSITION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spirotek Injectable Solution is a yellow or light yellow, clear and sterile solution. Each ml contains 600,000 IU of spiramycin.<\/p>\n

INDICATIONS FOR USE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Used in cattle and calves for the treatment of following cases caused by sensitive bacteria.<\/p>\n

– Mastitis caused by staphylococci, streptococci and mycoplasmas<\/p>\n

– Foot rot<\/p>\n

– Respiratory system infections, enzootic pneumonia especially caused by Pasteurella and mycoplasmas<\/p>\n

– Arthritis<\/p>\n

– Metritis<\/p>\n

– Omphalitis and omphalophlebitis<\/p>\n

– Enteritis<\/p>\n

ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Administer by deep intramuscular injection to cattle at the dose of 30,000 IU spiramycin \/ kg bw and to calves at the dose of 75,000 IU spiramycin \/ kg bw, unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian. Single administration is sufficient, however, if necessary, administration can be repeated 24 hours later.<\/p>\n

Practically; administer 5 ml \/ 100 kg bw to cattle, 5 ml \/ 40 kg bw to calves.<\/p>\n

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD(S)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cattle should not be slaughtered during the treatment and for 21 days following the last treatment. Cow milk should not be used for human consumption during the treatment and for 7 days (14 milkings) following the last treatment.<\/p>\n

MARKETING PACKAGING<\/strong><\/p>\n

50 ml, 100 ml and 250 ml in colourless glass vials inside cardboard boxes.<\/p>\n
